As part of your individually created customer area, your computers give you access to the lists of bins, including location addresses and the actual filling level, as well as the date and time of the last emptying. You will also be able to see your bins with their filling level percentage on a map as well as the history and statistics of each emptying. It allows you to organize your collection trips depending on the filling level of your containers and therefore reduce your costs of waste collection. SULO Access control system helps you to record and communicate the usage data of your containers

Our Access control system was first developed for the SULO underground and semi-underground systems ICEBERG and ICEBERG SEMI. lt is based on the statement that SULO has the capacity to create value in our waste disposal, with a control of for what, when, and by who voluntary deposit conatiners are used. Our meaning is to create an intelligent container, which can generate valuable datas to manage the collect,and improve the way we consume.

 

Our system is composed by a smart chip card with an electronic system, a box resistant to extreme conditions and a locker tested against vandalism and high pressure. You will able to grant access to adapted people or group of people by giving them a badge adapted to our contactless system, to record the use of your products, and to identify which one need maintenance.

 

Using a smart chip card with RFID technology, you are able to open the drum or flap of the SULO containers for one disposal or more based on the credit granted.

The chip card communicates with the RFID chip reader installed on the underground system. The specific user data is stored and can be used as the basis for usage-based invoicing, statistics or waste collection optimization.

The datas are send many times per day

The daily data of the usage is sent by GPRS in order to be consulted via the dedicated software. As soon as the container is full, it is locked until emptying. This effectively prevents overfilling which can be a problem for the collection. Access to the recycling systems can be remotely approved or rejected via the dedicated software.

Geolocation and data collection with on-board vehicle hardware

SULO provides equipment adapted to the waste collection with a technical system to recognize and record which bin is collected and his weight. We have an onboard vehicle hardware to localize the truck, collect data and transfer them to our system.

Data recording via integrated truck hardware creates a new dimension in transparency and waste collection optimization. You receive precise trip data and document the emptying processes. This is a milestone in making the efficiency of waste disposal measurable and to be able to make lasting improvements. The database also enables the real-time readout of collection and the management of your fleet via SULO software.

The identification module which reads the RFID chip of the bin, is fitted to the rear of the waste collection truck and automatically records all data during collection. The data can be consulted in real-time or by history. There are currently around 2500 vehicles equipped with this proven SULO system around the world. The process of bin identification is linked with the weighing system technology such that the waste quantity of each bin is traceably registered and can be used as the basis for automated invoicing of each household. The module in the vehicle’s cab is the interface for compiling of GPS data, depicting the routes and to fleet management.

Bin identification through RFID Chip

Efficient waste management starts with a bin being clearly identified. The proven RFID transponder technology by SULO provides the perfect preconditions for this and solution for it. With 10 million units installed around the world, it is one of the ground­ breaking and most used solution on the market. The chip is concealed in the bin’s DIN comb in a protected place and make the link with all the information registered and stored in your database of user. In this way, it enables reliable information by the SULO identification and weighing system or by a mobile handheld reader. SULO manufactures and provides all kind of normalized RFID solutions with various frequencies based on your needs and requirements (Chips, stickers etc…)

Being equipped with the RFID transponder chip lays the basis for precise recognition of each waste bin in your community, including all emptying data. Each bin has a globally unique ID number related to a location.
